December 21, 2011 NCI Coordinator’s Participation in Public Events
Yerevan—On December 13, Hovsep Khurshudian, coordinator of the National Citizens’ Initiative (NCI) NGO, took part in the parliamentary public hearings on the Draft National Strategy on Human Rights Protection elaborated by the Interdepartmental Commission of the National Security Council (NSC) of the Republic of Armenia (RA). The event was organized by the National Assembly Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs, and the NSC of the RA with the support of the European Union Advisory Group to Armenia. Yerevan—On December 21, The National Citizens’ Initiative (NCI) NGO coordinator Hovsep Khurshudian, took part in the general meeting of the delegates of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF). The agenda of the event included issues with relevance to results of the EaP CSF conference discussions held in Poznan (Poland); presentation of the first session of the Steering Committee; elections of the coordinators for working groups and subgroups; development of a body responsible for carrying out technical duties, and for working groups/subgroups.
